As the rising sun brings new hope to humanity, so too is the team of sailors and marines from the southeastern part of Mindanao…Team NFEM (Naval Forces Eastern Mindanao).

A unit formerly under the Southern Command (now Western Mindanao Command-based in Zamboanga City) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Team NFEM was created as a new arm of the command structure of the Philippine Navy (PN) in response to the rising demand for command and control in these parts of the archipelago.

From maritime security, civil-military operations, environmental protection, disaster response, assistance to socio-economic projects and maritime law enforcement, TEAM NFEM takes pride in its efficient and effective performance of duty leading to the achievement of its objectives of pursuing internal security and defense of the national territory.

TEAM NFEM stands firm in its commitment as guardians of the seas in this part of the archipelago for today and generations to come.
